***One Year Review Update // One year later after my 1st review & Im still using SpeedSmart. It remains my go-to App for determining my Wi-Fi speed. Its easy to change the servers city if you wish to. You cant go wrong using this App. End of review update.*** Its very accurate. I use it whenever Im someplace new and want to determine the best WiFi to hook up to. I also use it before and after I run my VPN to make sure my bandwidth is at an acceptable level. If Im stuck at the DMV, the doctors, or anywhere pages load slowly, I can determine if temporarily shutting down my VPN will then give me a useable operating throughput. But, no VPN means not Im not going to use any sensitive Apps like banking or LastPass; and Im certainly not going to be entering any passwords. As you can see, SpeedSmart helps keep me communicating rapidly and safe. SpeedSmart ROCKS!!!?

I use this app all the time to diagnose whether my iPhones network is generally working, since so often apparent problems are just within one app. I wish it had an advanced reporting mode which told me whether each phase (name resolution, TCP connection, data flow) was working to be a better diag tool, but its still pretty great even without that.

Love this app. Never fails and is very accurate. Great troubleshooting tool.

I use it when I am arguing with Comcast about how slow my Internet runs.

While the hard wired to the Computer is the best way to test a modem having any record will show there is an issue. With this app one can tell if your provider is giving you what your paying for.
